iba.DIGITALISATION AREA
supported by AHA 360° & Shop-IQ
More digitalisation in your business - with the support of iba
The iba.DIGITALISATION AREA has been an integral part of the leading trade fair since 2023. Together with AHA 360° and Shop-IQ, an area has been created that uses clear examples to make digitalisation in the baking industry tangible and, above all, understandable.
In 2025, in Hall 14 D11, the focus will once again be on the question: What is meant by digitalisation and which processes and products can be digitalised in companies?
More about digitalisation
Think digital!
A shortage of skilled labour, price fluctuations and sustainability: many of these current challenges can be more easily overcome with the support of digital solutions.
Customised solutions for your concerns
The problem often lies in digitising existing manual processes and thinking them through in a holistic and cross-departmental way. iba set itself the goal of providing visitors not only with solutions but also with the right partners to work with you to advance the digitisation of your company.
Exhibitors
Numerous exhibitors offer you solutions for digitalisation in the baking industry. You can view the exhibitors here from March 2025.
AHA 360° offers innovation and enjoyment on over 400 m²
The presentation area of AHA 360° covers more than 400 m² and offers an impressive experience - from the fresh bakery to an in-house coffee bar and high-quality culinary offerings.
Digital solutions for modern retail
AHA 360° and four other digital partners will be presenting pioneering solutions in the field of digitalisation that offer companies and employees practical added value in everyday life.
Sales concepts for every type of business
Various sales formats will be clearly demonstrated - including:
- Service and counter service
- Part-hybrid concepts
- Autonomous sales approaches
Highlight 1: The AI assistant for store employees
One particular highlight is the AI assistant developed by AHA 360°, which acts as a digital contact for employees directly in the shop.
Advantages of the AI assistant:
- Use via any smartphone - simply scan the QR code
- Multilingual communication
- Answers in text, image and video form
Example application:
‘A raspberry cake has fallen onto the upholstery in the seating area - how do I remove the stain?’
The assistant immediately provides step-by-step instructions.
You also receive information on topics relating to onboarding, training, lighting, daily routines, product presentation and much more. The assistant makes numerous processes in the shop intuitive and self-explanatory.
Highlight 2: The lighting innovation in the ‘Light Cube’
In the specially designed Light Cube, AHA 360° presents a ground-breaking lighting innovation: a smart spotlight that dynamically adapts to all conditions.
The advantages at a glance:
- Products have a significantly higher quality appearance
- Colours are optimally staged
- Energy and operating costs are reduced
- Sales-promoting lighting effect
- A world first with a real wow effect
Food Tracks
FoodTracks helps bakeries to optimise their order planning and reduce food waste with AI-supported software. With tailored recommendations and precise predictions based on sales data, weather and public holidays, FoodTracks helps bakeries to minimise returns and sell-outs, reduce CO₂ emissions and increase efficiency.
With Order Check, FoodTracks is launching a new analysis module at this year's iba 2025 that takes ordering processes to a new level of quality. This is because order optimisation takes place in the ‘real life’ of bakery processes - with till receipts, changing product range specifications and company-specific processes. This is where the new ‘Order Check’ module comes in: Key performance indicators of the flow of goods are combined with profile data from the product range and ordering process, making the starting points for a good integration of software and the actual process tangible.
This gives bakeries the key to reducing returns, boosting sales of top sellers and increasing planning accuracy.

Self-service takes centre stage: Samuelson will show you how you can use our software solutions to increase the efficiency of your branch operations, relieve your branch staff, let your customers ‘work with you’ and improve customer satisfaction at the same time.
Experience the self-service terminal, app, WebShop and pick-up system live: try out our self-service systems directly on site.
Experience how our modern self-service terminals speed up and optimise the ordering process for your customers, fully integrated into your checkout solution and kitchen processes. Order your trade fair snack via our customer app or via the WebShop and discuss your ideas for your branches with us.
Rethink the collection of baked goods: the customer app and WebShop or returns sales can be combined with the Marktbox - an autonomous collection system for goods ordered online. This allows you to create a seamless and pleasant shopping experience - without long queues and with more flexibility, even outside your opening hours.
