From a small bakery in Lebanon in 1973, Mr. Mahmoud Farhat set out to revolutionize flatbread production. He designed and tested the first Lebanese automatic bread line, a breakthrough that transformed bakery automation. As demand grew, he established FARHAT For Trade & Industry in 1982, focusing on customized, high-performance bakery equipment for Lebanese, Baladi, Arabic bread, manakish, and pizza bases.
With the new generation joining in 2000, the company evolved into Farhat Bakery Equipment, expanding its expertise to include advanced production lines for Lebanese Arabic bread, pocket pita, Greek souvlaki, naan, pizza base, flour tortilla, lavash, tannour bread, Iraqi samoun, and pitta bun.
