iba is the world's leading trade fair for the baking and confectionery industry, bringing together the full diversity of the sector. It offers a comprehensive overview of products, technologies and trends – from raw materials, baking ingredients and frozen baked goods to production, packaging and process technology, as well as digital solutions and complete interiors for bakeries and cafés.
The trade fair is aimed at bakers and confectioners of all sizes, decision-makers from the bakery and confectionery industry, and the food retail sector. It serves as an international meeting place for innovation, knowledge exchange and business networking.
iba 2025 welcomed 49,115 trade visitors from 149 countries, of whom 62.6% were decision-makers. A total of 985 exhibitors from 46 countries exhibited their products and solutions.
The next iba will take place at the Munich Exhibition Centre from 24 to 28 October 2027. From 2027 onwards, the world's leading trade fair will return to its established three-year intervals in Munich.
