These were the highlights of iba 2025
As a visitor to iba in Düsseldorf, you could look forward to the latest innovations in the industry and take the opportunity to exchange ideas with other industry experts. iba also offered a varied supporting programme with numerous workshops, seminars and lectures on current topics. Here you can see what highlights awaited visitors in 2025.
iba.EVENT AREA
A highlight at the trade fair: Visitors experienced unforgettable evenings in a place that united the evening events of iba. A cosy alpine hut with a unique atmosphere awaited guests on the outdoor area between Halls 10 and 16.
iba.FOOD TRENDS AREA
Visitors to the iba.FOOD TRENDS AREA were able to find out more about snacks, innovative raw materials and machines for snack production in an innovative layout that ran through Hall 15 like a boulevard. In addition to the food trends, visitors to the area also found the iba.STAGE with presentations and panel discussions.

At the iba.STAGE, visitors experienced a varied programme covering all aspects of food trends and more.
iba.START UP AREA
At the iba.START UP AREA, national and international start-ups from all iba.TOPIC areas presented their innovative ideas and solutions. The area offered an extensive programme and enabled direct exchange with the start-ups - for fresh perspectives and new inspiration.
iba.DIGITALISATION AREA
What is meant by digitalisation and which processes and products can be digitalised in companies? These and other questions were answered at the iba.DIGITALISATION AREA - where visitors learnt more about digital solutions and their potential applications in companies.
iba.CONFECTIONERY TEC AREA
At the iba.CONFECTIONERY TEC AREA, visitors were able to find out about ingredients and process technologies and engage in dialogue with exciting exhibitors.
Competitions
From the UIBC Cup of Bakers to the design competition "The Bakery of the Future", the programme was filled to the brim with exciting competitions. Discover more here.

The iba.FORUM offered exciting input on all aspects of the baking and confectionery industry. Here, visitors were able to take advantage of the training opportunities on offer to find out more about topics that move the industry.
iba.ACADEMY
At iba, visitors were once again able to put their dexterity to the test. Registration was possible directly via the website.
iba.TOURS
Visitors used the iba.TOURS to familiarise themselves in small groups with the focus topics of iba and the ‘New trends in the baking industry’ and to put their questions directly to industry experts.
