The iba.DIGITALISATION AREA has been an integral part of the leading trade fair since 2023. Together with AHA 360° and Shop-IQ, an area was created to demonstrate digitalisation in the baking industry in a tangible and, above all, understandable way using clear examples.
In Hall 14 D11, the focus in 2025 was on the question: What was meant by digitalisation and which processes and products could be digitalised in companies?

Skills shortages, price fluctuations and sustainability: many of these challenges could be overcome much more easily with digital solutions.
Tailor-made solutions for individual concerns
The challenge was often to digitalise existing manual processes and to think about them holistically and across departments. The aim of iba was to provide visitors not only with specific solutions, but also with the right partners to help them drive forward the digitalisation of their company.
AHA 360° offered innovation and enjoyment on over 400 m²
The AHA 360° presentation area covered more than 400 m² and offered an impressive experience - from the fresh bakery to a dedicated coffee bar and high-quality culinary offerings.
Digital solutions for modern retail
AHA 360° and four other digital partners presented pioneering solutions in the field of digitalisation that offered practical added value for companies and employees in their day-to-day work.
Sales concepts for every type of business
Various forms of sales were clearly demonstrated - including:
- Service and counter service
- Part-hybrid concepts
- Autonomous sales approaches
Highlight 1: The AI assistant for store employees
One particular highlight was the AI assistant developed by AHA 360°, which acted as a digital contact for employees directly in the shop.
Advantages of the AI assistant:
- Use via any smartphone - just scan the QR code
- Multilingual communication
- Answers in text, image and video form
Example application:
‘A raspberry cake has fallen onto the upholstery in the seating area - how do I remove the stain?’
The assistant immediately provides step-by-step instructions.
It also provides information on onboarding, training, lighting, daily routines, product presentation and many other topics. This makes many processes in the shop intuitive and self-explanatory.
Highlight 2: The lighting innovation in the ‘Light Cube’
AHA 360° presented a ground-breaking lighting innovation in the specially designed light cube: a smart spotlight that adapts dynamically to all conditions.

Food Tracks
FoodTracks helps bakeries to optimise their order planning and reduce food waste with AI-supported software. With tailored recommendations and precise predictions based on sales data, weather and public holidays, FoodTracks helps bakeries to minimise returns and sell-outs, reduce CO₂ emissions and increase efficiency.
With Order Check, FoodTracks is launching a new analysis module at this year's iba 2025 that takes ordering processes to a new level of quality. This is because order optimisation takes place in the ‘real life’ of bakery processes - with till receipts, changing product range specifications and company-specific processes. This is where the new ‘Order Check’ module comes in: Key performance indicators of the flow of goods are combined with profile data from the product range and ordering process, making the starting points for a good integration of software and the actual process tangible.
This gives bakeries the key to reducing returns, boosting sales of top sellers and increasing planning accuracy.

We at semco present our apps for digital store management.

- semco TEAM: The employee app for integrated employee communication
- semco TECH: The app for smart maintenance management
- semco LINK: The app for simple device management
New this year is the technician app (a supplement to semco TECH) - the app directly for technicians to seamlessly document and plan assignments.
