Bakery visits
The exclusive bakery visits, which visitors to iba 2025 were able to take part in, gave them exciting insights into the German bakery trade.
This is what awaited the participants:
As in previous years, tours of bakeries in Düsseldorf and the surrounding regions were offered again in 2025. The size of the businesses was selected according to the wishes and size of the respective visitor groups.
The groups had to organise their own transport (travel to and from the bakery) and any interpreters required. Where possible, they were accompanied by a company advisor from the regional guild association. In other cases, the company owner was briefed in advance by the association.
Drinks and small snacks were usually served during or after the company tours. In some cases, information material about the companies visited was available.
Participation in the tours was free of charge for the visitor groups - however, early booking was required.
