ProfilGate in use: A bakery upgrades
ProfilGate clean-off zones have a lot to offer the bakery industry. When moving into a new building, the Schrader bakery from Apensen therefore took the opportunity to upgrade its hygiene equipment.
The production manager responsible, Thorben Kalthoff, has already been using ProfilGate in the bakery for two years: ‘Our active advantage is that we don't bring in the dirt from outside and don't carry the impurities from the bakery through the whole building. Overall cleanliness has improved considerably. Even after twelve hours of operation, the floor is still clean.’
The cleaning field cleans shoe soles and roller treads independently. This is because it has active brushes that are mounted inside the gratings. This means that cleaning takes place every time the field is crossed - without manual operation. As a result, countless particles, such as flour, and even larger objects, such as stones, are removed from shoes and wheels during operation. In addition, this mode of operation is mechanical, which means that there is no risk of tripping over cables and no problem with moisture.
After two years, production manager Kalthoff is very satisfied with his cleaning fields: ‘ProfilGate is not just for industry, but also cuts a fine figure in the food trade and in SMEs alike. It creates cleanliness and at the same time a psychological effect that is sometimes underestimated.’
