Coverpan presents its new redesigned compostable window packaging at iba 2025

Seville, May 2025 - Coverpan, a leading company in sustainable flexible packaging solutions, announces its participation in iba 2025, the leading international trade fair for bakery and confectionery, to be held from 18 to 22 May in Düsseldorf. At this edition, Coverpan will present a key evolution of one of its flagship products: the new COVERPAN® PAPER with compostable window.

Since it patented the original COVERPAN® PAPER in 1994, a heat-sealable paper with a micro-perforated window that transformed the way bread was packaged in supermarkets around the world, the company has maintained a firm commitment to innovation and respect for the environment.

Now, more than three decades later, Coverpan is taking another step forward on its path towards sustainability. Its new packaging maintains the technical and commercial properties that have made it a benchmark - product visibility, ease of use, resistance - while incorporating a compostable window that allows for responsible waste disposal, without sacrificing the consumer experience or the presentation of the product.
