DEBAG unveils exciting new products and culinary highlights at iba 2025

DEBAG will be presenting new baking technologies at iba 2025 in Düsseldorf, including a high-performance production oven and a wide version of the DEDEC deck oven. An AI-supported assistance system will also be presented. Live shows by international stars will offer culinary highlights.

Bautzen/Düsseldorf 2025. iba will open its gates in Düsseldorf from 18th trough to 22nd May 2025. DEBAG will be presenting its latest developments at this international trade fair, which is recognised among the most important events for the baking industry. These innovations are designed to reduce time and costs, improve work processes in bakeries and branches and thus make everyday life easier.


New production oven for bakeries.
With this product innovation, DEBAG is opening a new chapter of its product portfolio and sets new standards in baking technology: For the first time at iba 2025, DEBAG is presenting its new high-performance production oven, which has been specially designed and developed for artisan bakeries.


New version of the DEDEC: 80120 with loading device.
The DEDEC deck oven enables rustic baking on a stone slab and offers a wide range of customised options to meet the individual requirements of every bakery. At iba, DEBAG will be presenting the extra-large version of the DEDEC, which impresses with a generous baking surface of 120 cm by 80 cm and its own loading device. The oven will be presented in the Black Edition.


Live demonstration of the AI-supported PreciTaste assistance system.
Over 50% of baking processes are affected by user errors, despite user-friendly controls. With the support of the Oven Station Assistant, which was developed in collaboration with PreciTaste, these errors are a matter of the past. The assistance system uses market-proven AI and camera technology to recognise the type and quantity of goods to be baked as soon as the trays are loaded, hence, outside the baking chamber. The oven parameters are set automatically, demonstrably preventing user errors. The program therefore helps to reduce energy costs and guarantees a consistently high quality of baked goods in the shop, which leads to higher sales and lower markdowns - even with unskilled staff. The live demonstration of the new assistance system is a particular highlight of our trade fair stand.


Experience the international baking stars in exciting live shows at the DEBAG trade fair stand:

  • The Wildbakers from Germany: Jörg Schmid and Johannes Hirth. The talented master bakers are known for their creative approaches to the baking trade. They will be presenting their popular sourdough croissants at the stand and sharing their knowledge with visitors.

  • Kullanan Wilaiwan from Thailand: Passionate baker and owner of the Grainbaker baking school in Bangkok. She impresses with her passion and extensive expertise. At the trade fair, she will delight visitors with a selection of sweet and savoury Asian delicacies.

  • Sven Mostegl from Dubai: ‘Sven the Baker’ presents a baking sensation that combines tradition and science exclusively at iba: The iba-Revolution Loaf - a bread that breaks down the boundaries between traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge nutritional science. It is far more than just another ‘healthy bread’ - it is a statement: sustainability, nutritional richness and uncompromising quality in a single loaf. This unique bread will be baked and presented live at the DEBAG stand at iba 2025.

Three baking parlours, the iba.ACADEMY and the iba.FORUM will be equipped with deck and in-store baking ovens and the corresponding proofing and refrigeration technology.
