Flies, wasps, mosquitoes, and other pests are eliminated in an environmentally friendly way – without chemicals – by an electric shock and fall into a large collection tray.
Based on many years of experience, the distance between the stable, vertically arranged stainless steel rods, voltage, and amperage are optimally coordinated. Even the smallest fruit flies are killed in the high-voltage field.
A sufficiently large distance between the high-voltage grid and the tubes, as well as between the tubes and the protective cage, largely prevents larger insects such as wasps from sticking.
The protective cage design allows insects to be attracted from all 4 sides.
Type II BF – a powerful, low-maintenance ceiling-mounted device – can also be used as a free-standing unit without installation. Even in this position, the collection tray can be easily pulled out like a drawer for emptying and cleaning. No waste piles or high follow-up costs are created.
The 4 x 20 Watt fluorescent tubes are offset to create a wide light band, ensuring strong attraction even in daylight.
The most important components, such as the heavily stressed high-voltage grid and the collection tray, are made of stainless steel even in the standard version. Therefore, the tray is non-flammable.
Maintenance has been greatly simplified. No tools are required for changing the tubes or cleaning the device. The protective grid, secured with a knurled screw, can be folded down. When loosening the knurled screw, the safety switch is activated, and the device’s power is switched off.
The tubes are now freely accessible and can be replaced easily.
VDE mark, splash protection, and CE certification by VDE are standard. The manufacturer uses high-quality VDE-tested electrical components. Additionally, ceramic insulators are used, preventing the burning smell caused by melted plastic insulators.
