Complete packaging line for wrapping cookies on edge

At Synchropack we have designed and manufactured a complete line for wrapping cookies on edge, in groups of 30 units at 80ppm. It is composed of: 

A cookie distribution and stacking system. High capacity production lines require product distribution systems that are able to handle and deliver products to the flowpack wrappers without manual intervention. Synchropack has developed a wide range of fully automatic handling and distribution systems. We offer solutions to the different situations that can be found at the end of a continuous manufacturing process using conveyor technology.

A double SAF (slug automatic feeder). These vertical loading and feeding units are installed at the outfeed end of production lines to assemble products on edge, into slugs, and transfer them to the feed conveyor of the flow-pack wrapping machine. Designed in a modular concept, it allows configurations of a minimum of 4 channels up to a maximum of 16 (depending on the number of rows of products arriving and the required performance).

A STT (transfer of edged cookies with tracking). The system is made for transferring biscuit groups (slugs) from the rod chain, into the flow-wrapper’s infeed conveyor. This operation is carried out by means of the movement of a servo driven double arm that picks up the biscuits at the end of the rod chain and transfers them between the flow-pack machine infeed chain pushers. The arm also tracks the speed of the pusher’s chain for a smooth and accurate transfer operation.

A Pack 900RT flow-pack wrapping machine. It is the electronic flow-pack wrapping machine proposed by Synchropack to wrap regular products, for medium or high production runs, with semiautomatic or automatic feeding and multiple format changes.
