Due to the energy transition, electricity prices are subject to ever greater fluctuations. In order to benefit from low electricity prices, many companies are considering expensive battery storage systems. However large energy storage systems are often hidden in their own infrastructure.
Using the example of Backshop Tiefkühl,
a subsidiary of Harry Brot, speaker Nicolás Juhl will show how cold stores can be turned into energy storage
facilities through intelligent control, lowering energy costs and reducing CO₂ emissions.
