With our atmosphere exchange chamber (ATMA) and our VFFS E350 SCD, we create the best conditions to significantly extend the shelf life of non-dairy baked goods with modified atmosphere packaging. The ATMA system is integrated between our AVN275 channel counting or AVN276.3 camera counting machine and our VFFS AVN E350 SCD.
The counting machine discharges the formed batch into the chamber, which is then closed almost airtight. In the chamber, oxygen is extracted from the products using a vacuum. The chamber is then flushed with CO2 and the products are discharged through a hopper into the format tube of our VFFS AVN E350 SCD (all under CO2 environment). In our VFFS AVN E350 SCD, which has been optimized for MAP packaging, the bags are sealed airtight.
