Young talent in the bakery trade: BackStage young talent days, training talk and training day

The young talents are trained by leading personalities in the baking trade in order to demonstrate their newly acquired skills at the BackStage Challenge. They will be evaluated by a top-class jury (TV pastry chef Bettina Schliephake-Burchardt, world baker Axel Schmitt and specialist salesperson Michaela Kluge).

In addition, participants are looking forward to a trade fair tour and exciting events in Munich. The BackStage Award ceremony will take place on October 22nd at 3 p.m. in the iba.FORUM. The topic of young talent will also be discussed in the training talk on October 22nd at 2 p.m. Here, industry representatives exchange ideas about current challenges and possible solutions.

Training Day on October 23rd continues to be dedicated to the topic of young talent. Various vocational school classes introduce themselves at the central association's stand and exchange ideas with Nils Vogt, consultant for vocational training and securing skilled workers from the central association. Mr. Vogt provides information about the central association's offers in the area of ​​recruiting and securing young talent. Afterwards, the vocational school classes will discover the diversity of the bakery trade at the iba in order to sharpen their perspective on the bakery industry.
