Stage Talk & Award Ceremony: Business Management with a Focus on Bakery Management
The time has come at iba: The first graduates of the unique Business Management with a Focus on Bakery Management program will receive their bachelor's degrees.
Business Management with a Focus on Bakery Management is a unique degree program in Germany, focusing on executive leadership and business succession in bakeries.
Upon presentation of a master craftsman's certificate or a business administration degree for the skilled trades, students receive up to 79 ECTS credits. The university credits 46 ECTS credits toward the master craftsman's certificate based on the pre-qualification. This allows the program to be completed part-time in just 3 to 3.5 years without loss of income. If you also hold a certified business administration qualification for the trades and crafts, an additional 79 ECTS credits are credited. This further shortens the program duration to approximately 2.5 years with fewer lecture periods. This means that the part-time program for master bakers takes no longer than a regular full-time program. The flexibility and time commitment of the program are particularly attractive: The online lecture takes place one afternoon per week. This is complemented by two weeks of on-campus study per semester, plus time for self-study at home. Everything is designed to ensure that the program can be easily combined with professional and family commitments.
