The forming of twisted or knotted products is one of the most demanding and at the same time one of the most labor-intensive and time-consuming manufacturing processes in bakery production. Hardly any other machine is as exemplary of FRITSCH's claim to teach its systems the baker's trade as the MULTITWIST, a system that has been producing dough strand-based products fully-automatically for over 25 years.

The heart of the MULTITWIST is the winder. With the help of two gripper arms, the machine not only twists pretzels in various shapes and sizes, but also rings and labor-intensive products such as single-strand braids and knots.

A single MULTITWIST can effortlessly produce 2,000 pretzels per hour. For industrial pretzel production, up to 10 modules can be set up in parallel, thus increasing the output to up to 20,000 pretzels per hour.
