Efficient, High-Volume Production with Stackable Fried Chip Systems
Reading Bakery Systems offers a modular system for efficient, reliable production of stackable fried chips. With capacities from 500 to 1,000 kg/h (depending on fryer), it delivers scalable performance tailored to production needs.
Core Components
The system comprises three main elements, all supplied by RBS:
-
FX Continuous Mixing System: Engineered specifically for stackable fried chips, this mixer ensures even moisture distribution through a specialized liquid injection system and innovative mixer shaft design .
-
2‑Roll Sheeter: Creates a consistent dough sheet, which is directly discharged onto the rotary cutting station’s infeed conveyor.
-
Rotary Cutting Station: Features die rolls to separate dough into distinct shapes. Options include dual die rolls for efficient changeovers between product types or sizes .
(Note: The fryer itself is not provided by RBS and must be sourced separately.)
Consistency & Process Control
The FX Continuous Mixer delivers consistent, repeatable results by eliminating batch-to-batch variation and optimizing texture quality. This recipe-driven approach ensures high product uniformit.
Safety, Sanitation & Automation
The system adheres to RBS’s SafeShield Program, which emphasizes:
-
Operator safety while minimizing uncleanable areas
-
Automation to reduce human contact
-
Design for easy cleaning and sanitation
-
Materials selected to minimize contamination risk
Complementing this, in‑house designed control systems are tailored to customer needs, incorporating the latest safety and automation standards to keep production smooth and compliant.
Reading Bakery Systems’ Stackable Chip System offers:
-
High throughput (500–1,000 kg/h)
-
Precision mixing, sheeting, and cutting
-
Consistent, quality texture
-
Enhanced safety and sanitation
-
Custom, modern control systems
By combining modular design with advanced mixing and cutting technologies, RBS delivers a powerful, scalable solution for manufacturers of stackable fried chips.
