In the food chain, cleaning and disinfection operations are often neglected, postponed or rushed due to lack of time and personnel. However, they are essential for ensuring the product's safety and quality.

AM Technology offers an innovative solution: BWM (Belt Washing Machine), a machine designed to automatically wash and sanitise the conveyor belt of your equipment at the end of the shift.
‘Improperly removed organic residues create favourable conditions for the development of altering and pathogenic bacteria and microorganisms. These microorganisms can multiply and develop biofilm, a highly specialised bacterial colony protected by a kind of outer film that makes it more difficult to attack.
In fact, normal disinfectants only attack the outermost layer of the biofilm, without being able to attack the innermost cells, which continue to multiply. Our washing system consists of two main units:
the pumping unit and the washing unit.
Pumping unit
The pumping unit is equipped with wheels for easy handling and includes:
A high-pressure pump.
- The detergent tank.
- The valve unit.
- Inlets and outlets for the fluid.
This unit is connected to the washing unit via quick-coupling pipes, ensuring both ease of use and operational flexibility.
Washing Unit
The washing unit consists of a tank equipped with one or more sets of high-pressure nozzles, through which the liquid is sprayed to efficiently clean the conveyor belt on which the food product is placed.
System Advantages
The configuration with two separate units offers considerable cost savings. A single mobile pumping unit can be used to serve several belts, each equipped with its own washing unit.

- Washing with water heated by electric heating elements.
- Rinsing with mains water.
- Recirculation and filtering of the washing water for less waste.
- Rapid draining by forced air.
