Are you exhibiting at iba, but still have specific questions or tasks to do to prepare for the trade fair? In our service FAQs you will find all the answers to questions about your trade fair appearance.
NO passes are required for set-up and dismantling. This applies to both exhibitors and stand construction companies.
Set-up times iba:

All deliveries (pallets, individual packages) for exhibitors that are sent to the exhibition stand must be labelled as follows:

Delivery via Gate 1 (halls: 1-7 + 9-17) and Gate 8.2 (halls: 8A + B) is possible at any time during the opening hours of the hall. Road traffic and access regulations apply. Please note that Messe Düsseldorf cannot accept exhibitor materials.
When expecting deliveries, please ensure that an authorised person is at your stand to receive them.
If this is not possible, Messe Düsseldorf's contractual freight forwarders can store and deliver any deliveries to your stand at a later time.
For vehicles with a total weight of more than 7.5 tons, time slots for set-up and dismantling at iba 2025 must be booked via the FIRST booking system for truck slots.
The truck slot can only be booked by one of the two exhibition forwarding agents or Kühne + Nagel (AG & Co.) KG Schenker Deutschland AG and can only be booked in conjunction with a binding order for a forklift truck or crane.
Please contact your exhibition forwarding agent, stating your stand number and desired time slot.
You are in good hands with our forwarding partners SCHENKER and KÜHNE + NAGEL. Popular services include the provision of crane and lifting vehicles or the storage of goods and merchandise for the delivery of consignments directly to your stand.

Do you have co-exhibitors on your stand? Of course they should also benefit from all the iba advantages. We therefore recommend that you register your co-exhibitors as soon as possible via the exhibitor portal.
You will find the registration form on the right in your checklist in the exhibitor portal.

As an exhibitor, you will have access to the halls from 07:30 a.m. to prepare for the day of the fair.
You can order parking permits via the Müsse Düsseldorf Online Order System (OOS) until the trade fair.
Please note:
- Messe Düsseldorf will allocate parking spaces to all applicants approx. 4 weeks before the start of the trade fair. If you order after this deadline, it may take 2-3 days to process your request.
- You will receive an e-mail as soon as the parking permits are available for you to download in your profile under Stand Management in the Online Order System (OOS).
The Online Order System (OOS) is the online store for your orders for iba 2025. You can now use the OOS to place your orders for technical equipment and services for your trade fair stand.

You can order as soon as you have received official approval of your stand order. Once you have received approval, you will receive an invitation to the OOS to your e-mail address. This invitation will be sent from the official e-mail address onlinesupport@messe-duessledorf.de of Messe Düsseldorf.
Please follow the instructions in the e-mail to register or log in to the Online Order System.
User name: Your user name is the e-mail address to which you received the invitation e-mail.
Password: You assign yourself a password when you register.

From 20.04.2025 a late fee of 35% will be charged.

Please note that stand constructions of 100 square meters or more as well as stand constructions with platforms with a height > 20 cm, special constructions and two-storey stands must be approved. An inspection fee will be charged for the approval of special constructions and two-storey stands.
Provided that the Technical Guidelines are complied with in the design and construction of the stand, it is not necessary to submit drawings for approval for single-storey stands (less than 100 square meters). On request, Messe Düsseldorf offers to check stand construction plans for a fee (EUR 105.00 plus VAT).

Exhibitors will be able to place technical orders in Messe Düsseldorf's OOS (Online Order System) from September 2024. Exhibitors will receive an invitation to the OOS by e-mail in due course.

Messe Düsseldorf invoices all ancillary stand costs (electrical connections, water connections, consumption, telecommunications, etc.) directly to the exhibitors. Exhibitors will receive an advance payment invoice from Messe Düsseldorf in the amount of EUR 20.00 per square meter of stand space. This amount will be offset against the invoice for services actually used.
