Established in 1894 as a mechanical workshop, Ganter released the first catalog for Standard Parts as early as 1912 – five years before the foundation of the Deutsche Industrie Norm (DIN).
The idea of standardizing industrial products, manufacturing them in economical lot sizes, storing and selling them individually was entirely new at that time.
