Weishaupt burners are suitable for fuels based on renewable energies (green fuels) as well as for the blending of 20 percent hydrogen into gaseous fuels.
Plant operators usually have to spend considerable costs on energy for this process heat. Comprehensive energy optimisation of the heat supply system not only significantly reduces the energy consumption and costs of combustion plants, but also increases operational reliability.
When plant operators invest in a state-of-the-art and efficient burner, it is not only worthwhile for the environment: such projects are also very attractive from an economic point of view. This is because the current technology is characterised by significantly lower consumption compared to existing systems. In times of high costs for energy sources, this is an important argument for plant modernization. The savings made by modern burners affect both the consumption of fuels for heat generation and the electrical energy required to operate the system. The corresponding cost reduction can be considerable: In the power range above 1 MW, replacing it with a modern Weishaupt burner can save five-digit euro amounts per year for both fuels and electrical energy. This results in amortization periods of less than three years in some cases.
