Environmental transition : be part of the solution!

The humanity is facing one of the biggest challenge of his history: feeding a growing population in a more sustainable way.  As the food sector is responsible for 20% of the environmental impact, it is mandatory that the food industry moves faster through the ecological transition.

 

The first step is of course to measure in a reliable way the environmental impacts of products and organizations.  This can only be done thanks to the deployment of a trustful methodology allowing to analyze which are most important impacting factors, helping you to set priorities for improvement. 

 

The good thing is that this method already exist and is called the Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) or Organization Environmental Footprint (OEF).  It is the most robust and scientific method available on the market and it is the only one recommended by the European Commission. At
 GF-Impact, our mission is to help our customers towards their environmental conversion journey.  For the first time, we make the PEF/OEF easily accessible for the food sector thanks to a unique digital platform created to model this methodology.
